MS Marketing Student Publishes Article
Kushal Gohil publishes paper in pharmaceutical journal.

January 26, 2009 – Kushal Gohil, a full-time M.S. Marketing Student, recently learned that his Pharmaceutical research paper was accepted for publication in the Asian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences.

With an undergraduate degree in Pharmaceutical Science from India, his work portfolio includes healthcare and chemical industries. Working as a graduate assistant for the Government Relation and Communication department at U.C., Kushal is a member of the Healthcare branding team. He also is a member of the collegiate American Marketing Association.
Kushal is currently working with Professor Frank Kardes and Professor Drew Boyd on a study that examines the effect of need for closure and status quo on managerial decisions. His MS-Marketing capstone client is Hill-Rom (a leading hospital equipment manufacturer), for whom he is developing a Marketing Product Launch Metric Dashboard.
Kushal's research and career key interests lie in Pharmaceutical marketing, Purpose-driven branding and strategic planning.
