MS-Marketing Alum Mary Beth Berberich is enjoying salad days with Dole

Mary Beth Berberich, Senior Retail Designer/Strategist at RGI, Inc., a Walnut Hills branding firm helped her company successfully introduce a new product for Dole Food Co.

April 13, 2009 – RGI, Inc., unveiled a line of premium salad blends for the California-based produce company, on a national level and also in Canada. Dole's new salads are unique because they not only feature premium baby blends that highlight richer and bolder flavors, but blends like arugula and spinach are sold in eco-friendly packages. The slogan, RGI created, “Our Choice Greens. Your Greener Choice,” was highlighted on what truly was an integrated marketing campaign. The campaign included retail, print, online and radio touch-points to drive awareness of the new product with consumers.

Mary Beth, who joined the firm in September of 2008, had the opportunity to put her education in the MS-Marketing program to the test, by being heavily involved in the online marketing portion of the campaign. RGI, designed the website www.dolechoicegreens.com that touts recipe contests, product information and a fun quiz to find you Inner Salad-Self.
